ok well so far ive tried to refer dc and devincook. with devin i had him take screenies of his registration and it definatly said snakeman2058 look:

but in his profile it says i didnt refer him and i still have 0 referals...how am i supposed to revel in the master chief glory if i cant get referals?

swiftbrowse? use a real browser first of all... that probably screws with the cookies and broke the function..

actually it isnt cause nlwrestler registered with my link and he isnt counted as mine and i know for a fact he used firefox... this is makign em kinda angry because by now i should be ranked in the top 10. ive reffered 3 so far

get angry then, theres a notice at the top of the site that warns you things may not work as expected right now

Contact me via pm with ppl that you've tried to give your ref to. We will manually add them in.
We will then try to fix your ref link. Allow for time for this to be fixed. It won't work with a swift browser because of it's very limited cookie limits and allowance.

From my experience, SS internet page SK internet page is a bad and unsupported future. Its only there, so you can access their own maps and such.

I referred three new people two days ago and not one of them appeared on my referals. Got one more yesterday and that one did appear.

that means someone is doing something right, and someone else wrong.

their browser is probably blocking the new cookie because its the first time they came to the site, so the cookie isn't set. possibly have them add wpo as a trusted site first then give them the URL. otherwise, they HAVE To go directly to the register page, from the front page - otherwise it depends on the cookie to keep the referral. understand?

Front page (cookie attempts to set itself with ur name as their referral) -> Register page (cookie isnt used because the ?ref= is still set in the browser, this is a safeguard that is proven to work beyond doubt)

Front page (cookie attempts to set) -> some other page (cookie is hopefully set, and the name is carried through now with no url) -> register (url is no longer set, so the register page checks the cookie)

I've missed quite a few refferals myself.
The refferal link is just rubbish.
I had to get all my recruits the long way.
